The focus of the CCTS and College of Medicine's Physician/Scientist Career Development Program is to grow, retain and recruit promising early-career clinician scientists to the University of Kentucky.  The program will target promising scholars who have demonstrated a commitment to pursuing academic careers at the University of Kentucky in clinical/translational priority areas for UK HealthCare. The program will provide resources needed at the instructor and faculty level for clinicians to participate in intensive research and career development training required to launch a successful and sustainable research career in translational research.  Resources and support provided are identical to those provided to the NIH funded KL2 program.
