Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) 101 is designed for clinical research coordinators, clinical research associates, and staff who function in this capacity. The course introduces the basics of coordinating clinical research at the University of Kentucky and is intended for early-career coordinators or those new to the field.
This blended course includes both in-person and web-based components. Participants must complete all of the requirements below to receive a Certificate of Completion:
- CRC Foundations through CITI
- CRC 101: In-Person Session
- Seven web-based modules (available once you complete the in-person session)
Because this training is designed as an entry-level course, it does not provide continuing education credit. This course is free of charge for University of Kentucky employees.
Pre-Work: CRC Foundations through CITI
You must complete CRC Foundations prior to attending the in-person session. To access this online training:
- Log into CITI using your linkblue username and password.
- Under Learner Tools for University of Kentucky, select Add a Course.
- Select Human Subject Protection, then Next.
- In the following screen, select Additional Optional Courses of interest, then Next.
- In the following screen, select Clinical Research Coordinator, then Next.
