CCTS Inpatient Research Unit

The Inpatient Unit is located in UK Chandler Hospital, Pavilion H, Wing 5 North and offers:

• Hospital unit staffed with specialized research staff, open 24/7 (except the week of Christmas)

• Seven inpatient rooms with the capacity to hold up to 13 patients (additional staff required)

• A lab processing and shipping area complete with refrigerated centrifuge and a short-term -80° or –20° storage freezer

• A metabolic kitchen

• Exam room

CCTS Outpatient Research Unit

The Outpatient Unit is located in UK Chandler Hospital, Pavilion H, 3rd floor, C300 and offers:

• Fully staffed unit with reception area, six exam rooms, and one large procedure room, open Monday through Friday, 8am - 4pm.

• 

  Infusion capability 

• A lab processing and shipping area complete with refrigerated centrifuges, a short-term –20° storage freezer, and dry ice

• Designated space for study sponsors while monitoring

• Flat screen TVs with wireless headphones in some rooms

• Refrigerators for medication and food storage

• Ice machine
