Introduction to Clinical Research (ICR) 

The objective of this course is to introduce professional students to the opportunities in clinical research.  The course will introduce topics including informed consent, protection of human subjects, clinical research study design, protocol and manuscript review.  

The ICR course is taught in 2 formats:

• Summer Workshop
• MD815 – ICR Course Spring Elective

The ICR Course/Workshop is a prerequisite for applying to the Professional Student Mentored Research Fellowship.
