Studies of academic career development invariably identify mentoring experiences as among the most important factors for success. Choosing the right mentor/mentor team is a key to the success of career development. In addition, experienced mentors recognize the important role they play in supporting the career development of their mentees and seek training opportunities to enhance their mentoring skills.
To support career development, the CCTS offers both Mentor Training Workshops and online mentoring resources. In addition, support for identifying potential mentors is available upon request.
